Cosplay wishlist 2018

New Year means a start for new projects, weehaa! Time to plan upcoming cosplays (I truly love planning!..) I want to make big things this year in general but now I have a wishlist only for cosplay part - there's much #WorldOfWarcraft and #StarWars :) And all these will be budget cosplays (as all my cosplay is)!

SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER (World of Warcraft)

It's the project I'm thinking about for few months and slowly started looking for materials last year already. I will stick with her older versions (like from Glenn Rane art).

I love #Sylvanas story and can relate to all the anger she has inside.. we'll see how I will succeed impersonating the Banshee Queen!

VALEERA SANGUINAR (World of Warcraft)

One more story I admire. Orphan. Arena fighter. Loyal friend. Fel corrupted. Bloody damn rogue. And cool outfit. Yup, I decided to cosplay #Valeera when I saw Kinpatsu's costume and read that elve's story. I postponed the costume for a long as it will require some sewing skills (that I'm gaining slowly). And her daggers seem to be a challenge! But I'm really looking forward to cosplay Valeera!

ALEXSTRASZA (World of Warcraft)

Dragon Queen. Life-Binder. Aspect of Life. Queen of the Dragons. She Who Is Life. So many titles! She's like Daenerys - needs a 15 minutes introduction :D but still, I love her. How couldn't I love someone who cherishes the Life? And also a #dragon! Her minor armor (as in original concepts) she has when in human-form will be just perfect for summer (I think) :P

ALLERIA WINDRUNNER AND TURALYON (World of Warcraft)

That is one true power couple and it would be great to cosplay them both (for me and Mindaugas). However both costumes should require a lot of skills as it ain't the most easiest builds so it's a wish/plan to make later this year... Even if not with Turalyon, I'd love to cosplay one more of #Windrunner sisters!

JAINA PROUDMOORE (World of Warcraft)

Though it seems like #Jaina is the most cosplayed female #WoW character I still would want to become her for a time - I truly respect all of her intentions to unite #Horde and #Alliance, I truly relate to her! So what if there are many Jainas around.. I will cosplay her sooner or later :P

DEMON HUNTER (World of Warcraft)

I'd love to try do something with horns, wings and hoofs - it should be truly a challenge! But that's why I'd like to make this costume - while there's not much armor/clothing I could try new techniques to create those #illidari body parts!

TROLL (World of Warcraft)

Trolls are close to nature - maybe not like druids, but in their shamanistic ways. And I love shamanistic! While there are no particular female troll hero I'd love to recreate -I leave it open to creation :P

WITCH DOCTOR (Diablo)

Last year I did two #Diablo wizard cosplays so this year I should definitely cosplay someone else from this dark-melancholic game and witch doctor is my choice. Why? Because of shamanistic reasons and all this stunning tribal style!

REY (Star Wars)

#Rey is truly a hero to look up to. Also Daisy herself is (just watch her working out and get ready for the role)! I already made her scavenger costume for a New Year's party in 2016 (it was one of my three "cosplays" I've done until I started cosplaying, if you know what I mean..), so after #LastJedi I definitely want to make even more versions of her. Not only Jakku, Hero and Resistance outfits, but also a dark-side version in duet with Kylo!

PADME AMIDALA (Star Wars)

While Rey is to be cosplayed for her personal traits, I'd like to make something from wardrobe of #Padme as it's.. huge, elaborate, versatile! As a simple project would be her arena outfit, and when I'll have more sewing skills - one of her fancy dresses.

LEIA (Star Wars)

If I'm doing both Rey and Padme costumes, why should I leave princess #Leia out? Her outfits are far more humble than Padme's but still have their own flare.

Young Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)

I already cosplayed her classic/Anniversary look and really would love to make some others as #TombRaider is one of my favorite games ever and Lara is my idol (I even started to study archeology after finishing high-school. Sadly, it wasn't my way...). So now I look up to her more for physical aspiration. Not to mention the movie is coming out in march, yay!

Someone from GAME OF THRONES

Let's not leave the great #GameofThrones out! As this year is a break between the seasons somehow I left off #Westeros, but I'd love to rewatch all the seasons from the very first one before the last season takes off and I am sure I will be inspired by all these sophisticated costumes!
